What is the name of a poetry that Mufti read ?
Assalamu Alaikum,
It’s “Teray siwaa ma’bood-e-haqiqi koi nahin” - not sure who the poet is, but we found it in an Urdu book titled “Wijdan-e-Faqir” published by Maktabatul Faqir.
Salam The poem “Teray siwaa ma’bood-e-haqiqi koi nahin” is from mulana Majzoob (i do not remember his ful name) he is khalifa of mulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi.
The ashaar are not from Wijdan e Faqir, Maktabul Faqir simply compiled them in the book. The ashaar were written by Hazrath Mahmoodul Hasan Majzoob (ra), khalifah e khaas Hakeem ul Ummah Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (quddus sirruhu). They are from his book Kashkol e Majzub. My shaikh Hazrath Mufti Navalur Rahman sahib (db) has read these ashaar to us many times. The ashaar are not just simply poetry, they explain the deep mazameen of tawhid.
These are ashaars by Hazrat Khwaja AZIZ UL HASAN Majzoob, not Mahmoodul Hasan.
